It is multi dimensional and textured.From the silver stripes at the top,,opal, blues, purple and finally enhanced with platinum that is fired into the piece. The back of the pendant has a surprise with silver harlequins of dichroic glass.
This picture does not do it justice. It was difficult to photograph it . It is longer than it looks and the left side is metallic royal purple. When worn it looks subdued, WHen it is hit by light all of it's beauty can be seen. It is a piece that will have to be seen in person. or to take the artists word that it is truly a beauty.
